A friend of mine posted a drawing that I did for him back in 2005.

That was the first car he bought. He asked me to mod it to his taste, so I did a drawing for him....damn, I can't believe he still had it. :')

It was all done with a graphite pencil. I added some color with PS. But that was my latest finished work back in 2008. It's all in graphite also.

This that was in my latest work also. Started with graphite, and colored it with PS. It was for the birthday of an italian friend that loved Betty Boop.

Wow, nice... Looks really sharp, from the thumbnail it looked like a Tamyia Box Art.

Definitely should. Most brands use pictures of either the real car or the finished model on the boxes, while tamyia sticks to illustrations and ends up with some of the coolest boxes in the market.

Wouldn't you get free or discounted kits? That sounds like motivation to me!

I need more hahaha. Seriously...I stopped because I felt slowly becoming like a Hyundai designer (back then). Coyping stuff from others and not doing something original. But then my laziness took over and my childhood dream to be a car designer just felt apart even if everyone was pushing me to do it. I just need to find my peace in all this. I'm in the process to do so.

Aww this is an awesome picture! Have you ever considered doing commissioned pieces? I know there are people (myself included) who would love to see their automotive babies immortalized in a piece of art like this.

I used to when I was in high school and started design cars to my friends taste in Cegep (before university). The idea never actually struck me. But that would be interesting.
